0xramp supports two flows — buying crypto with fiat and selling crypto to receive fiat — both settled via a network of P2P merchants around the world. Under the hood, every transaction moves through three layers: P2P.me ochestrates the orders and handles the fiat payment + USDC escrow on Base, NEAR Intents converts USDC to or from your chosen asset, and 0xramp ties it all together with a clear interface, live quotes, and order status tracking.

Buying Crypto (Fiat → Asset)

Enter amount and address

Choose the asset you want to receive (for example, ZEC or NEAR), enter your receiving wallet address, and review the quoted rate. The quote reflects the current USDC/asset price via NEAR Intents and the FIAT/USDC rate from P2P.me.

Pay via Fiat

A Fiat QR code is displayed in the app (for example, Pix, Pago Movil, Alias, UPI, QRIS). Scan or copy it and complete the payment from your bank app for the exact amount shown. The fiat address belongs to a P2P.me merchant. 0xramp never handles your payment credentials.

Receive your crypto

P2P.me detects and matches your fiat payment, then locks the equivalent USDC in escrow on Base. NEAR Intents converts that USDC into your chosen asset and delivers it to your wallet. The entire process typically takes around 6 minutes.

Enter sell amount and fiat account

Select the asset you want to sell and the amount, then enter your fiat address (for example, a Pix key).

Send your crypto

The app shows you a deposit address and the exact amount to send. Initiate the transfer from your wallet. Keep in mind that blockchain transactions are irreversible — double-check the address and amount before confirming.

Receive fiat

Once your transaction is confirmed on-chain, P2P.me verifies the deposit and releases the corresponding fiat payment to provided account. You’ll receive the funds directly in your bank account.

The Three Layers

Every 0xramp transaction runs across three distinct components:
  • P2P.me — Owns identity, KYC, and trading limits. Matches fiat payments and manages USDC escrow on Base. All on-chain escrow logic lives here.
  • NEAR Intents — Handles the on-chain swap between Base USDC and your target asset (or vice versa when selling). Supports a broad catalog of assets beyond just USDC.
  • 0xramp — The product layer. Provides the interface, displays quotes, correlates your session with the on-chain order, and surfaces real-time status updates. 0xramp does not touch your funds at any point.
All orders are placed on-chain by your wallet or P2P.me smart account. 0xramp has no custody of your funds at any point.
